The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed in regards to the large number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area each day. The assistance point produced for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it tricky with the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to here permit the servicing of all shoppers and boost access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
